I recently stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton and found the location excellent for exploring London. The room, a Standard Double Room, was spacious with a comfortable bed. I particularly liked the complimentary warm cookies upon arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay, making me feel welcomed. However, there were a few issues that brought my experience down a bit. The air conditioning didn't work properly, making the room uncomfortably warm at times. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner, and I noticed some noise early in the morning from the cleaning staff that disturbed my sleep. Despite the comfort of the room and the pleasant staff, the maintenance issues could use attention.
